While at TruLondon2 a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a LinkedIn legend – Jacco Valkenburg. He is a true LinkedIn expert and regularly lectures and consults on how to maximise the use of the business social network, LinkedIn. He set up and runs the LinkedIn group ‘Recruitment and Staffing Professionals’ which currently has 42,000 members!! He kindly answered my impromptu video question…..

 Jacco has written a fantastic book on LinkedIn: Recruitment via LinkedIn – A practical guide for HR professionals, recruiters and employment market communication specialists.
It really is the best LinkedIn book I have read! It covers everything you ever need to know about LinkedIn, and in a very easy to read way.

He has been busy recently, because not only is he busy delivering a huge recruitment project, he has found time to launch a new recruiting website – Globalrecruitingroundtable.com – and while a little ‘busy’, it has some excellent recruitment based content.

LinkedIn is still so massively under used in the recruitment industry, as I highlighted in my recent post, Are recruitment consultants barking mad when it comes to recruitment?,  which I find amazing.

So if you are in recruitment and you are not using LinkedIn, then get it sorted out!! Learn, learn and learn some more – after all you are never going to get a better tool to help you do your job than this!!
