Unfortunately, most of us weren’t born knowing how to delegate.
When I launched my business delegating did NOT automatically come easy to me, in fact it was a lot like pulling teeth!
(I had a few, ahem, control issues?)
There came a point where I needed to quit trying to do it all myself and start doing things like a CEO would.
It didn’t come easy, that’s for sure, and I’m still a work in progress.
But the sweet, sweet freedom of NOT having to keep my laptop open way beyond 5pm or on weekends was intoxicating!
A process I learned a few years back helps me stay diligent in my delegating and that’s what I’m sharing in this week’s video.
The steps I cover will keep you from doing the dreaded “drive-by delegation” that we can all easily fall prey to – which will only make things worse and drive our team members nuts!
Look, I know you’re super talented, but you’ll never be able to grow and scale your business until you get this down, and it really is an art.
Check out the video to not only see exactly how to get more done in less time, but how to bust through the income ceiling that’s been holding back your growth. (They’re totally inter-related.)
In the comments, let me know if you can relate to being a control freak, and how you handle delegation within your company! I’d love to hear.
P.S. This topic, along with systematizing and automating your business is EXACTLY what I’ll be covering at my new fall event in Princeton, NJ, called Leverage. EARLY BIRD registration is now open! Click here to find out more and join us to learn how to grow your business even if you don’t think you have the time or resources to do it (I’ll show you that you do!)
