RPO Sales Strategies

Because most people possess positive associations about themselves, most people prefer things that are connected to the self like the letters in one’s name. Such preferences are sometimes referred to as implicit egotism.

For example, people disproportionately choose careers whose labels resemble their names. People named Dennis are overrepresented among dentists and people named Lawrence are more likely to become lawyers.
Or people are disproportionately likely to live in places whose names resemble their own first or last names. For example, people named Louis are disproportionately likely to live in St. Louis.

Implicit egotism appears to influence major life decisions. This idea stands in sharp contrast to many models of rational choice and attests to the importance of understanding implicit beliefs.

If a name can really have such an impact, then which names are more likely to purchase recruitment services? If I use implicit egotism into my selling process and call on more talent acquisition leaders named Ricardo, Robert and Romero, will I sell more?

And please feel free to share more names you think are inclined to buy Recruitment Process Outsourcing. I can always use some help!
