Phil Green alerted me to this amusing image which originates from a JISC InfoNET article Approaches to course design with technology.
Of course it isn’t that amusing because it’s really rather sad. I don’t blame the sponsors and others who commission learning interventions for this state of affairs, because they don’t know any better. But I do blame the professionals who failed to alert the sponsors to the fact that learners are not empty vessels into which we can pour whatever information we want.
See It’s not enough to be a professional, you also have to act like one.
