New York City Open Accessible Space Information System (OASIS)

OASIS is an interactive map of New York City that combines data from federal, state, and local government agencies, academic institutions, companies, and nonprofits. The tool is freely available to the public, and gives people the ability to see how space is used in any neighborhood, zip code, or tax block.

OASIS is based on the belief that a common, free, open space inventory – really a web-based GIS mapping resource – is invaluable to NYC’s greening and planning communities…GIS is an invaluable resource for environmental, design, health, safety, economic and planning decision making.
