Most People Fear and Resist Change

SigChngqI have been around the world many times and one thing I have seen consistently is that individuals, teams and organizations often times fear and/or resist change.

I wrote yesterday about the importance of continual learning.  If you think about it, change requires doing something different.

Changing for the better requires learning and applying something new.

Even the rare organizations who are open and willing to change often make the most common mistake of doing too much too fast.

The best learning, the best change, the kind that is sustainable, is done in bite sized chunks with the proper amount of support and reinforcement in between.

If you are not changing, it really means you are not growing.

If you are not getting better, you are not just staying the same, you are falling behind.

If you want to create change that is positively better, then check out the graphic below and staple it to your shoe.
