Making social media work for your company

While doing some Sunday morning reading online, I came across the graphic below from the website Oneupweb, a digital marketing agency, that I thought was simple and brilliant at the same time.

It is self explanatory and it is a very good graphical representation of making social media work for your business, and the different types of social media that could interest different parts of the organisation.

Unfortunately they have missed out HR (I guess HR isn’t even on the radar of digital marketing agencies as they aren’t potential revenue streams for them!). This is a shame, as they could use social media in many different ways (even though they will first draw breath acutely, then lecture you about the privacy issues etc etc!), to engage with both their existing workforce and prospective new employees.
