Making Love the Bottom Line

There is intention behind everything we do in our business.

And there is a difference in an intention of service, and one of accumulation.

I’d like to invite you to notice which place you are operating from, the majority of the time.

No judgment, just compassionate observation of the intention behind your actions.

This is especially important when it comes to selling and having sales conversations.

It’s so easy to slip into a mindset of need, fear and anxiety.

Who am I to charge this much?

Will they think I am being too salesy?

I really need this money.

But it is also just as easy to shift your thoughts here:

I’m going to change this person’s life.

I want a transformation for them and I KNOW it’s going to happen.

This is powerful for two reasons: because you must believe in what you put out there and that it’s going to get people results; and because one is coming from a place of love, while the other is fear.

People pick up on the energy behind your words and actions. They know when they are being seen as just a number.

But people are more than just a number.

Energetically love them. It changes everything.

This can look like meditating on this before writing copy, client calls, discovery sessions, webinars or speaking gigs, for example.

I always ask a higher power to use me, and show me who I can serve today. You can do the same.

Flow through me, use me and show me the way.

Lead me to the people whose lives I am supposed to change.

Yes, you must take action and move your feet. But when you back that up with pure, genuine love, you will be marketing, selling and serving fueled with an incredible, unstoppable power.

That’s making love the bottom line.
