When it comes to conferences, 2013 was a lean year for me. I didn’t attend any except for one local event. So I’m particularly excited and honored to be participating in this year’s KronosWorks 2013 conference!
Presented by Kronos, a global leader in workforce management solutions, KronosWorks 2013 is a four day event. Along with Sharlyn Lauby and Robin Schooling, I’ll be putting my HR/Social Media skills to work. I’ll be covering sessions, networking with industry leaders, and checking out the social media lounge (naturally). I’m also looking forward to seeing Monday’s keynote speaker, Jeremy Gutsche. I read his book, Exploiting Chaos, several years ago and it remains one of my favorites on innovation. It’s helped to inspire me in building a creative and sustainable career.
If you are attending, I hope to see you. If you can’t, please follow the #KW2013 hashtag on Twitter. For every tweet with #KW2013, Kronos will donate $1 to Hire Heroes USA, up to $10,000. Donation details are available here. Not only does it help you get a feel for what’s happening at the conference, you’ll be doing some good as well.
Come see me at KronosWorks 2013!
Full disclosure: I am a paid independent contractor hired by Kronos to attend the KronosWorks 2013 conference.
