Enhancing the user experiences is among the top HR technology trends, says Sarah White. The move is toward consumerization, and for many HR departments this includes a design overhaul of their IT applications and Web sites to resemble their mobile counterparts. “Everything is looking a lot more like apps,” White says.
Additionally, White says that she sees changes in how companies are marketing themselves to potential employees in the same way vendors are now marketing themselves to potential buyers. “They’re really going to much more of a personal connection, versus being much more formal like they were in years past,” she says.
