If We Hear Only a Single Story, We Risk Critical Misunderstanding

Author and storyteller Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie warns of the danger in hearing only a single story about any event, country, or person. When we listen to just one story, she says, we miss the nuance, details, and tension between perspectives. In doing so, we risk misunderstanding something far more complex and deserving of our full understanding.
