In April of 2012 I edited and released an e-book entitled, We Are The Future – Thoughts from the Graduating Class of 2012.
Mobile viewers can click here.
Ten graduating students talked about their hopes, dreams, and concerns about their emerging HR careers. It’s been well received, having been viewed almost 1000 times since being published.
I’m excited to announce that I’m in the beginning stages of putting together a new e-book! Again, I’ll be focusing on graduating or recently graduated students who are receiving a degree in a Human Resources related area of study, such as:
- Human Resources or Human Capital Management
- Organizational Design or Psychology
- Industrial or Labor Relations
- Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources
Those pursuing Human Resources certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR. school based programs) will not be considered at this time.
Already I’ve had the opportunity to speak with students, school faculty, and others involved with preparing the next generation of HR practitioners. It’s been an experience–hearing about their respective decisions regarding their education, thoughts about how they’re looking to advance and grow as HR practitioners, as well as concerns about the job market. Their stories inspire me and through this project, I know they’ll inspire you as well.
