How Are Businesses Responding to the Disaster in Japan?

I lived in Japan for a couple of years and still have several friends there. I’ve heard via email and Facebook that they are okay (though one friend had to walk for 10 hours to get home yesterday) but it’s clear that the disaster and, of course, the response are ongoing. The images are horrendous, and one friend living in the Yokohama area tells me that the nuclear reactor situation is still uncertain. 

Many of us will be watching to find out how business organizations respond to this historic disaster.
