Hiring For Service and Sales Employees? 5 Tips to Expand Your Recruiting Net

The last two blog posts have discussed the impact to a service job profile when sales are added and how to change your pre-employment hiring process for service and sales employees.  Finding job candidates that have the ability to perform a service and sales job is a difficult recruiting challenge.  

As the graphic below illustrates, you are recruiting from a more limited talent pool.  From a hiring standpoint, you should expect to add additional resources to your recruiting team, expand your recruiting sources, and give your team enough time to build a recruiting pipeline for service and sales employees in order to offset the challenge of finding job candidates for service and sales roles.
