Five Reasons I love what I do as a Nursepreneur

Contest4 225x300 Five Reasons I love what I do as a Nursepreneur

Meet Sadie Foster Child and Family Counselor and Family

For the last 25 years that I have worked in nursing I have been introduced to many people from all walks of life. Had someone told me that I would be the leader of a team that goes above and beyond the average entrepreneurs, I am not sure I would have believed them.

I have dreamed owning a business since as far back as 1984 – I never knew what kind until around 1996 when I started talking about having and online business that I could work from home. Well the internet was very new in 1996 and the dot.com era was just beginning to take off.

I worked full time as a nurse raising both my boys working the night shift 13 hours at a time three days a week. The dream and the vision I had in my mind never went away it only grew stronger.

In 2004 – I decided I was going to build myself a webpage…and I did not have a clue how to attach a link much less add a media file or a page for that matter…but I started learning. Many very frustrating days I sat and pounded the keys on my desk top computer trying to figure out the small things to make a page work – then I had to figure out what to write on the pages.  Someone mentioned SEO and Google spiders. I had so much to learn. I hit so many walls head on. I never wanted to quit…I wanted to learn more.

Fast forward to 2013 – and I have a team that I am able to share the many short cuts with to prevent them from taking that long frustrating road that I did. I have a private facebook group where we share and connect business ideas and give the best support I have ever seen.

Every now and then you have to give a shout out to people that are special – not just a little special but a lot. Over the last 2 1/2 years that I have worked with Young Living Essential Oils Company I have met some of the most amazing people in business and as customers.

183 active distributors 256 amazing customers with 61 new members added this month to the team.

Today I want to share with you four business partners who I have met at business conferences, on Twitter, Facebook, and Social Media.  They are committed to their health but also to growing a business that helps not just their family but others like yours.  These are just 5 of the reasons that I love what I do. I have the privilege to meet people all over the USA and beyond.

I am meeting a friend from Canada in Baltimore Maryland next week for business training and flying back to Nashville to have dinner with a friend from Denver Colorado.  Those two friendships and many more could not have happened without business online and social media.
