Disney and Unions open negotiations

 

Workers in the Magic Kingdom began negotiations for a new union contract yesterday.  With profits and prices up, and many of the Disney workers referring to themselves as low wage workers, the process looks like it will be contentious.

That’s what happens when your former CEO earned $9.54 a second (allegedly).*

* Former Chief Executive Officer Michael Eisner, took home $1.4 billion in compensation between 1993 and when he retired from the helm of the entertainment giant. That works out to $9.54 a second.
