Why is CSI International paying it forward?

The reason CSI International is donating leadership training is because we think now more than ever leadership counts.

Our goal is to help successful leaders become more successful world-wide.

The question is, as a successful person, how do you become more successful?

To answer this question, top ranked executive coach and best-selling author, Marshall Goldsmith wrote, ‘What Got You Here Won’t Get You There’. The New York Times best seller defines 20 bad habits of leaders and seven steps to change for the better, helping you to achieve that next career milestone.

If you haven’t yet read Marshall’s book, I highly recommend it.

Now for the exciting news.

Marshall has partnered with us at CSI International to create a suite of layered eLearning modules that includes Marshall’s engaging stories, insights and best practices for overcoming leadership challenges. The learning suite contains advice that CEOs and Presidents world wide seek out from Marshall.

So, we have decided to pay it forward, helping leaders of select companies around the world to overcome obstacles and help them to be more successful. And we are giving this leadership training away for free.

CSI International wants to give back by developing leaders to be more successful. CSI and Marshall Goldsmith are looking for companies who are providing a significant number of jobs across the globe.

We hope to create a positive trickle effect that will benefit many more individuals and organizations.

We will be delivering the content via our layered learning format, where users access the content in spaced repetition over the course of four weeks.

Marshall, a long-time supporter of this type of learning, has said the reason he loves layered learning is there is feedback and follow up and that is what help leaders get better.

If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know that with layered learning, people are given information in bite-size, digestible doses – repeated and reinforced – until they understand it and are comfortable with it. That is, repeat it until they get it, can retrieve it and apply it. This is how change happens within an individual.

CSI International will be accepting applications from interested companies starting November 3, 2014.

Accepted organizations will receive free leadership eLearning for every leader in their organization.
