Customer service representatives, office support supervisors and executive administrative assistants are among the workers least satisfied with their jobs, according to our latest survey results. The findings can be a signal to employers to examine these workers’ roles and duties, and look for ways to add value to their experiences on the job.
According to the survey, only 21 percent of customer representatives expressed satisfaction with their jobs, while 27 percent of administrative professionals said they were satisfied with their job. Only a little more than half said their managers understood their skills and abilities, while 60 percent said that they don’t feel that their employers are willing to provide time and training to support their jobs.
