If 2009 taught me anything, it’s how much of a bellwether my business is for the economy. Many of you may know that the bread-and-butter of my business is employee assessments — pre-employment and leadership. When businesses aren’t hiring and promoting employees, they stop calling. It’s plain. It’s simple. The mood and morale of small business drives my sales.
For the early part of last year…very few owners and managers were in the mood.
